The giant snowstorm on Dec. 11 did have one silver lining: lots of snow for people who enjoy winter recreation. Wood Lake Nature Center has put all that white stuff to good use, grooming the trails around the lake for cross-country skiers and snowshoers. The center provides equipment rentals, too.
