Richfield's U-17 girls' soccer team was honored at a recent City Council meeting for becoming state champions of the Classic 3 soccer division this summer. Assistant coaches Sue Greimel, far left, and Paul Zlika, far right, were on hand to hear a council resolution honoring the team read by City Councilman Fred Wroge, second from left. Greimel told the council the championship is the first state title ever for a Richfield team.
