St. Cloud State University graduate and Richfield native Ashley Reid will be reporting for 55423.info as an intern this summer.

Ashley graduated with a major in Mass Communications (broadcasting) and a minor in Political Science. She spent the last year gaining experience by reporting, anchoring, writing and producing live daily newscasts for the award-winning UTVS News in St. Cloud.

Ashley graduated from Richfield High School in 2005 and currently lives and works near Richfield. Coaching youth soccer, going for walks with her dog and spending quality time with friends and family are just a few of the things she enjoys doing in her free time.

55423.info is an independent news, information and community-building website serving the community of Richfield. Ashley is looking forward to the opportunity to contribute to the web-based news site serving her hometown.

"I feel pretty lucky that Ashley was available to do the internship this summer," said site administrator Mark Plenke. "I think she's going to add real improvement to the quantity and quality on the website."
