The Richfield Rotary Club is seeking applicants for Rotary Peace Fellowships, a 15- to 24-month scholarship program that leads to a master’s degree in international studies and peace and conflict resolution.
"Rotary International will award up to 100 such scholarships for study at Rotary Peace Centers at leading universities in Japan, Argentina, England, Australia, Sweden and the United States," according to a news release distributed by the organization. Funding includes transportation, room and board, tuition, fees and a stipend.
Rotary is also offering a three-month professional development certificate course in Thailand.
Applicants must have earned an undergraduate degree, have three to five years of work or volunteer experience and a demonstrated commitment to peace and service, and be proficient in a second language if appropriate. Applications must be received by Richfield Rotary by April 1.
